15. St. Peter (Now St. Peter-Our Lady of the Rosary Parish)

NOTE: In 2015 this church merged with Our Lady of the Rosary Church and St. Joseph's Chapel as part of the Archdiocese of New York's great closings & mergers of 2015. All three churches will remain open for regular Masses and other events. This new combined parish is called St. Peter-Our Lady of the Rosary Parish.

ST. BLASE DAY

This church stands very close to the WTC site. The beams from the destruction that lay in ruins in the shape of a cross, currently reside right outside the building.

It remains a somber experience to be down there.
