Catholics like myself often forget that the Immaculate Conception is not a Holy Day about the virgin birth of Christ, but rather the belief, thrust upon us believers in the Church through papal infallibility, that Mary too was conceived immaculately without sin. May she continue to be a model to us all about following the Divine Will of God.
